Getting Into The Yahoo Directory

An almost-backhanded way to get into the yahoo directory.
The Yahoo directory costs about $300 to get you site suggested to be in it. No guarantees, just suggested. But there’s an easy way to get listed in it for free. And yes, it does involve my new love, RSS.
My Yahoo! can be used to read RSS feeds, so someone must have used My Yahoo! to read one of my feeds. Soon after I saw (using the stats feature from Feedburner.com) that Yahoo Slurp (the web indexing bot) had been crawling my feeds. And since each feed links to my site, they crawled my site. So if one were to sign up for a My Yahoo! account and list your feeds in there, you’d get free exposure for your site! So use this useful information and promote some more.
